Our sustainability policy aims to provide lodging and eco-tourism services within the concepts of sustainable development, while also guaranteeing the economic viability of the business. We are concerned with the conservation and sustainable use of renewable natural resources, as well as with the appreciation of the traditional Caiçara culture and way of life.
Our goal is to offer our guests complete interaction with nature and the local community. With simple and comfortable infrastructure, and healthy cooking, we encourage contemplation of the landscape and the practice of sports and outdoor activities. Throughout our activities, we promote income distribution by valuing the local population and providing the means for direct participation by the community in the construction of a sustainable tourism chain. |

1 Creation and consolidation of a productive chain within the sustainable tourism sector;
2 Planning of ecological/cultural tours and itineraries;
3 Ongoing training and the hiring of local labor (local guides and environmental monitors);
4 Use of maritime transport "boats and canoes" belonging to the residents of Mamanguá for tours;
5 Use of local renewable natural resources in Refugio Mamanguá’s cooking (fish, shrimp, cockles, clams, mussel, banana, cassava flour);
6 Promoting local income generation, by providing our guests with indications of local restaurants that serve lunch (we don't offer lunch)
